About the Photographer...
Hey y'all! My name is Montana Canter and I'm a traveling equestrian and lifestyle photographer based out of Taylorsville, North Carolina. I am 28 years old and a 2018 graduate from Appalachian State University with a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice!
I purchased my first DSLR camera to photograph my horses specifically my mare, Bree, and my love for photography has grown from there!
I love being behind the camera no matter what I am photographing but capturing the bond between horse and rider is what I am most passionate about. I have been an equestrian and horse lover my entire life so when I started my photography business in early 2016 I knew I wanted to capture the memories and milestones shared between girls and their horses for years to come!

Horse & Rider sessions are stylized equestrian focused photo sessions designed to capture the bond shared between girls and their horses.
Equine portraiture sessions are fine art portraits of your horse against a white or black background to highlight their beauty and best features.
Montana Canter Photography also offers family, couples, engagements, bridals, and equine event photography.
