Dogs are more than a pet, they are family.
Canine portrait sessions are designed to capture the unique personality and beauty of your dog. Dogs can be photographed by themselves or with their human and sessions are photographed at the location of your choice. Each session is uniquely tailored to each individual client and can include a mix of portrait, action and fine art background images.

This all inclusive package includes more digital images and the option for multiple dogs to be photographed individually and/or in a group setting. Dogs can be photographed alone or with their human!

FAQ/TIPS FOR CANINE SESSIONS

Choosing a Location

The location chosen for the session will greatly influence the final look and feel of the images. Sessions can be done at your home or we can travel to a desired location if your dog is comfortable with that.

 

 Some examples of locations include wooded areas, creeks, pastures, parks, and city life. Depending on your dogs breed and the "look" you are wanting, we can choose the location that best fits your preference.

The Session

During our session, your dog can be photographed while on a leash and the leash can be removed with editing in post production to create a polished, clean look. If your dog is well trained and is comfortable off leash, that is an option as well and may provide more freedom for additional poses.

 

I use different tricks and tools to get dogs attention during the shoot while also making it fun for them!

What should I bring to the session?

  • Neutral colored leash/collar.

  • Your dogs favorite toy to get their attention!

  • Training treats (small treats that aren't messy and that can be eaten in one bite).

  • Pet waste bags (in case of an accident)

  • Clean towel to wipe your dogs mouth if they drool.

  • Coat brush (if your dog has long hair).
